Year 6 Residential - Day 1

Year 6 have had a wonderful first day filled with a range of activities including the Wilderness Quest, which involved collecting firewood and lighting campfires using a flint and steel. They then had a go on the low scramble wall using team skills, working together to determine how to get all team mates over the wall and back again. Some of the children also completed a local walk and went nature spotting in the pond. They enjoyed an evening meal of jacket potatoes with a variety of toppings before their evening activity which was the low ropes assault course and showed some fantastic teamwork skills. The children are currently in bed and getting settled ready for a jam-packed day of activities tomorrow.
