Springdale Primary School has a Specialist Inclusion Base (SIB) with commissioned places for 38 children with an EHCP for SLCN, their results are included in our overall outcomes for all statutory assessments. The performance information below is presented in two ways:

• Whole School: includes the outcomes of all pupils, including those within the SIB.

• Mainstream: excludes SIB outcomes and can therefore be used to make a more direct comparison with other mainstream primary schools.

Pupils in the SIB make excellent progress from their individual starting points. Due to the nature and complexity of their needs, it is not always appropriate for some pupils to access all national curriculum assessments and statutory tests. Our assessment approach is therefore carefully tailored to ensure that each child's achievements and progress are measured in the most meaningful way.

KS2 SATs Results for 2025/26

Combined RWM is the number of children achieving at least the expected standard in reading, writing and maths. HS represents children achieving the higher standard.
