Year 5 Experience Create Day

Year 5 have had a wonderful day taking part in an online workshop with the Royal Opera and Ballet and 25,000 other schools around the country. They have learnt a dance exploring dynamics and using cannon and counter balances. They have learnt a song and created their own verse for the verse exploring the rights of a child and what it means to them. Prior to this day they also made a “box of hope” which was a prop they used in their final performance. It has been a very thought provoking experience for the children as it was surrounding the UN convention of the rights of a child and exploring the experiences of children who are displaced from their homes.
