Year 4 - D&T - Biscuit Making

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed our D&T day, which was themed around making biscuits and adapting recipes. Throughout the day, we completed taste tests of different types of biscuits, planned out how to adapt a recipe to make it even better and designed a whole new biscuit along with recipe and packaging for it. The children loved the opportunity to choose their additional ingredients, with rainbow sprinkles and chocolate chips proving the most popular across the year group! When it came to the mixing and baking part, the children loved getting messy with the flour and creating their own personalised biscuit. The best bit of the day of course, was eating our freshly baked biscuit! Well done, Year 4, for a very productive and successful D&T day!
