Manny Singh visits Springdale

Manny Singh Kang visited Springdale this morning and delivered a truly inspirational assembly to children from Year 1 to Year 6. Manny is a remarkable charity fundraiser from Wolverhampton, who, back in the day, attended Spring Vale Primary school, and is best known for his incredible efforts to support Dementia UK. He’s raised over £260,000 through a mix of sponsored walks, marathons, and his signature “Samosa Saturdays,” where he and his family sell homemade samosas outside Molineux Stadium to football fans.

This morning, he shared a selection of his achievements, including being named ITV Fundraiser of the Year at the Pride of Britain Awards. He’s completed challenges like walking from Wolverhampton to Newcastle, doing a 48-hour walk with no sleep, and even preparing for a 24-hour non-stop ride on a static bike. He gave some incredibly important and inspiring messages to the children with a particular focus on, it isn’t anything new, it’s what you already have inside of you, and it’s how you use it to make good things happen for yourself and others. Bravery, courage, determination, perseverance… these are all things we have within us, it’s how we use it that matters.

The children were truly inspired by Manny and everything he has achieved! Thank you for coming to visit! We look forward to seeing what your next achievements will be.
