EYFS, Explorers and KS1 VE80 Celebrations

Explorers, Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 2 had a fantastic day celebrating VE 80! We enjoyed a variety of creative activities based around poppies and we’re looking forward to seeing them displayed in the school hall. The children used a range of artistic skills including painting, collage and drawing. After lunch, we all went outside for a party on the playground. Everyone had a biscuit or cupcake and we played different games and activities, including skittles, target games, hula hoops, velcro catch, giant dominoes and giant snakes and ladders - all accompanied by 1940s music! What a great day to remember!
