Headteacher’s Welcome
Welcome to Springdale Primary School. We are a vibrant, two-form entry school with a dedicated Speech and Language Resource Base. At Springdale, we celebrate diversity and inclusion—every child is given the chance to shine and reach their full potential, no matter where they start.
Our SHINE values guide everything we do:
Safe, Happy, Included, Nurtured, Enthusiastic.
These values help our children feel they belong, achieve, and thrive.
We want every child to enjoy a wonderful school experience that helps them grow academically and personally.
We believe in giving every child the best chance to succeed. If we notice anything that might make learning or personal growth harder, we act quickly to help. We work closely with parents and trusted professionals to provide the right support at the right time.
Children can face challenges for many different reasons, and these can happen at any stage of life. That’s why we treat every child as an individual—listening, understanding, and making sure they get the help they need to thrive.
High Standards and Enriching Experiences
At Springdale, helping every child achieve their best across all subjects is at the heart of our teaching and curriculum design. We also offer a wide range of enrichment activities and after-school clubs to make learning exciting and meaningful—whether it’s sports, arts, music, or special interest groups, there’s something for everyone.
Our children and staff work incredibly hard, and in recent years, our results have been the best they’ve ever been. Visitors often tell us how calm and welcoming our school feels—and how well-behaved and respectful our pupils are.
Outstanding Results and Progress
We are proud to share that our 2024/25 KS2 SATs results were excellent for children in the mainstream. They achieved well above the national average in Reading and Writing, were in line with national expectations for Maths, and above national for combined Reading, Writing and Maths.
This success is down to the hard work and dedication of our staff and the positive learning behaviours our children show every day.
Children in our Speech and Language Resource Base also made fantastic progress from their starting points, which is a real testament to their effort and the support they receive.
Come and See Springdale for Yourself
Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision—and the best way to know if it’s the right fit is to experience it in person. We warmly welcome visits from prospective parents and pupils.
If you’d like to arrange a visit, please contact our school office. We’d love to show you around and share what makes Springdale such a special place to learn and grow.
We are proud to be part of the Lykos Trust with Highfields, Warstones, Spring Vale and Westacre Infant school.
